I played softball and knew that I would always have a large crowd of peers and staff in the stands cheering me on. But besides the classroom, the teachers, administrators, and especially the students, would support their classmates in extra-curricular activities of the school. They were always willing to provide additional help before or after school or during their planning period. Whenever I was struggling with a particular subject, I only had to ask the teacher for help. The teachers were also determined to make sure that all of their students succeeded in the classroom.
My teachers & administrators were wonderful at growing my unique & quirky personality into one that held several leadership roles in many organizations, clubs, & student government throughout my 4 years. Many classes require a payed fee to help provide more school supplies and with AP classes and other clubs and programs, money can add up quickly! However, this school still provides a great community for students to achieve their goals and it even offers tutoring as well as an amazing ACT prep class which has helped lots of students get great scores! With the wide range of classes, Fairhope High School gives every individual their own chance to learn at their own specific pace.Īlum: My experience at Daphne High School was a wonderful one! I was the 3rd in my family to go through the school, but I never felt like I was compared to my sisters. I rate this school 4/5 stars because I think it has a great environment for learning but it can be quite expensive for a public school. The school also has quite a diverse set of students and everyone has an equal opportunity to learn and succeed. This school is also highly competitive in many different aspects such as in the art department, sports, and even academics. The teachers all have a driven personality and encourage their students to do their very best. Junior: Fairhope High School has an excellent staff.
